The Active XC Jacket for women is a subtly elegant, yet hard-working technical cross country ski jacket and vest combination. The slightly brushed, wind protective, textured and stretch exterior has a very soft hand that moves with your body and looks fantastic. Strategically placed vents and venting panels provide air flow and the mesh liner aids in moisture management. But what makes this jacket really stand out is the unique and flexible system for removing the sleeves. Unlike others that have a single zipper encircling the shoulder, which can bind; this system incorporates two hidden zippers that creates a u-shaped cover over the shoulder and under the underarm. Each sleeve has a mesh-lined shoulder panel that covers an independent, shoulder panel for the vest. By creating two independent panels for each use, neither the vest nor the jacket binds or hinders arm and shoulder movement at all. The black zipper and black-trimmed arm opening create a double trim for the vest that looks stylish, and the jacket sleeves have really cool interior wrist cuffs for comfort. This jacket is thoughtfully designed in both looks and functionality that makes for a truly versatile jacket/vest combination. We highly recommend this jacket as a core outer layer, do-almost-everything jacket. The color is shell with passion (dark peach) with black accents.
