The Gate Jacket is a soft shell alpine jacket that is water and snow resistant and has a ton of great features. A tough, four-way stretch fabric sheds moisture, moves with your body, and stretches for maximum comfort. A removable hood keeps the snow off and the heat in, and has unique little Velcro pockets on either side of the zipper to anchor the hood. Special extras include a nylon mesh interior, a microfiber collar, and elastic at the bottom and hood to close out the wind, plus it has five pockets: in the left sleeve, right chest, left lower back, and two side pockets. The result is all-around comfort and warmth in an efficient, well-designed jacket.
