Originally designed with kayakers in mind, the ReVel continues to be the kayaker's choice, as well as the choice of any outdoor recreationalist who wants a durable sunglass that fits well under helmets and doesn't fog up. An important feature of the ReVel is the opening between the frame and lens at the outside edge of the lens to allow maximum ventilation for high-output activities. Strategically placed silicone pads at the nose and ears help with grip when your head gets wet or sweaty. The LYX nylon frames are tough and the active hinges allow the sides to break away and be popped back into place after a crash.
