The midweight SmartWool is great as an outer layer on a cooler fall day, and the zipper will help you regulate your temperature. This garment fits like a second skin and that, plus its softness, would make it an excellent natural fiber base layer on those cold days. The quarter zip and mock neck help keep the chill out.

Features
SmartWool apparel is made from natural merino wool, but the “smart” refers to the simplicity and comfort of this special material: it can be machine washed and dried, is very breathable, doesn’t have a trace of wool’s normal itchiness, and is naturally antimicrobial for odor control. It has a luxuriously soft feel against the skin and, though it is still a pretty light fabric, is a very warm layer. This top features an 8” zipper on a mock neck collar.
