What are the differences between the Misty Mountain and the Torrent rain jackets?
Both are great jackets – you do not have to worry about performance. Your decision should really be based upon how you plan on using your jacket. The Misty Mountain is a great jacket for casual use, everyday errand running and travel. The pit zips are helpful when the exertion level increases and there are plenty of features to keep you satisfied. The Torrent Jacket kicks the functionality up a level with the coated zippers, the additional adjustment of the hood, the longer tail, and the zippered arms that really increase ventilation during activity. If you need a jacket for mountain travel that can stand up to harsher conditions and more strenuous activity, the Torrent is the one.

- Adjustable Velcro cuffs with molded cuff tabs, rather than the standard Velcro cuffs on the Misty
